Established in 1985 as a regulatory body, the IOV is a UK-registered, non profit limited company (No. 2623169), which is owned by its members and managed by a board of elected Executive Members.

The Institute Of Videography are the only DTI recognised Institute in the UK representing videography.

As a member, Cut Above Productions agrees to act in accordance with the IOV Code of Practice, and strives to maintain the highest levels of production competence and professionalism in their work.
