Lucy and Scott booked us to make their wedding film as we had filmed Lucy’s brother’s wedding back in 2013 (we get so many bookings this way!)
Lucy got ready in one of The London Golf Club’s bridal suites and looked absolutely stunning in a bodice cut lace detail dress (bought from Isabella Grace in Tunbridge Wells) that with a full length veil gave her a perfect silhouette and was complimented perfectly with her gently tousled long hair held in place with a pretty tiara. Lucy’s bridesmaids looked lovely in full length silver gowns. Flowers on the day were the clever creation of the team at Dream of Flowers.
The wedding ceremony took place in The London Golf Club’s magnificent oak beamed Great Hall and after a beautiful ceremony there was a gorgeous confetti moment as Lucy and Scott walked back down the aisle.
It is always good to work with other professionals in the Kent wedding industry and this was certainly the case working with award winning wedding photographer Steve Barber who set up some wonderful shots in their photoshoot.
Lucy, Scott and their guests all then enjoyed a drinks reception at London Golf Club’s long bar where guests could enjoy views of the golf course and the North Downs. This gave Steve and ourselves a chance to capture Lucy, Scott and their guests relaxing and enjoying themselves and taking in the stunning 700 acres of golf course and Kent countryside. We got some truly romantic footage of the two of them around the grounds of The London Golf Club. Take a look!
The wedding reception started with Lucy and Scott being toasted in by London Golf Club’s toastmaster to rapturous applause. Then everybody enjoyed a fantastic wedding breakfast and there were some very well received speeches. Evening celebrations started with the cutting of a beautiful four-tier wedding cake, made by Heavenleigh Cakes, before Lucy and Scott took to the floor for a romantic first dance. It was the image of Lucy and Scott embraced surrounded by all their loved ones that we took as our cue to close the story of their amazing wedding day.
Weddings like Lucy and Scott’s are why we love to create wedding films. This one really was a Kent wedding videographers dream booking!
